Species
In ZXS, four species are available for player characters. Though they offer no stats bonuses, they serve an important purpose in RP.
Humans
Typical human beings. Those who are purely human are renegades and illegals, opting out of the hybridization equality laws for Humans and Reploids.
Humanoids
What once were humans are now humanoids, cyborgs who have mechanical parts, part of the laws in place to equalize Human and Reploid differences. They typically have mechanical ears as their designation as Humanoids.
Reploids
Synthetic human beings, they're no different than their Humanoid counterparts thanks to equalizing laws. They're denoted by a downward pointing red triangle on their foreheads.
Pseudoroids
Used interchangeably with Falseroid, these are mechanical beings with their own sentience. They're often based on animals or creatures from myth and legend, though they could also be based on plants or anything their creator is inspired by. Often enough to give them a bad reputation, Pseudoroids are typically villainous types, taking power from Model W, though unaffiliated individuals, as well as those taking power from a different Biometal or even no Biometal have been known to exist.
Biometal
A mysterious technology, Biometal is matched to "Chosen Ones" who are able to use them. Biometal Model W is notoriously known for its involvement in the Game of Destiny. The world has gone without much incident for a generation, but whispers have begun to be heard that there is a great resurgence of Biometal, with new Models being discovered at an alarming rate. They say it's only a matter of time before a new Game of Destiny gets underway...
