Attacks and Charge Attacks
The standard fare of dealing damage, Attacks have a few components but are actually quite simple.
Attacks
-An Attack takes up a Full Action
-Usable only during the Action Phase of the Turn
-Select a Weapon to Attack with
-An Attack has a Damage Type - Selected from the Weapon's Damage Potentials
-An Attack has an Element - The same Element as the Weapon
-User's Base DMG
Charge Attacks
Weapons often have charge systems that allow for increased damage and effects. They draw their power from the Energy Meter.
-Charging an Attack one Stage takes up a Full Action
-If the Charged Attack's Element has a Debuff, the Charged Attack deals that Debuff
-One Stage Charge deals +5 DMG
-One Stage Charge costs -5 from the Energy Meter
-Two Stage Charge deals +10 DMG
-Two Stage Charge costs -10 from the Energy Meter
Overdrive Invoke System (OIS)
This ability allows Characters to enhance their Attacks. If their Element allows for a Debuff, OIS Attacks will deal that Debuff.
-Takes a Full Action to engage
-Usable during the Reaction Phase or the Action Phase
-Attacks deal +5 DMG
-Every turn in OIS costs -5 from the Energy Meter as a passive action
-OIS Attacks cost -5 from the Energy Meter
-OIS One Stage Charge deals +50% DMG
-OIS One Stage Charge costs -15
-OIS Two Stage Charge deals +100% DMG
-OIS Two Stage Charge costs -30
-Taking any Damage while in OIS causes OIS to shut down
Energy Meter
Characters can make use of their Energy Meter through Charge Attacks and OIS. It's a limited resource, so it should be managed efficiently!
-Starts the battle at 125
-Does not recharge - Resets after battle
